Travelpoint is the travel and expense platform. Travelers from almost all government organizations can book and declare their international journeys via our new platform. In this newsletter, we share what is going well, where there is room for improvement and what we will focus on in the coming period.

Overall satisfaction with Travelpoint has increased

The customer satisfaction survey was conducted from May 4 through May 26, 2026. Travelpoint users who booked a trip or traveled between September 2025 and March 2026 were contacted for this survey.

We achieved a good response rate: 20.6% of the users contacted completed the questionnaire, for a total of 2,898 respondents. The results show that overall satisfaction with Travelpoint has increased compared to the previous customer satisfaction survey (6.0 vs. 5.3). Users are generally positive, although the experience may vary by organization.

Key findings at a glance
Most users find booking a trip to be a simple process. In addition, users are satisfied with the processing of reimbursement claims and the support provided by the Travelpoint 3W service desk.

There are also areas for improvement. For example, the division of roles between Travelpoint 3W and travel agency Gray Dawes Travel is still not sufficiently clear, and satisfaction with the support provided by the travel agency remains somewhat low. This also applies to the user-friendliness of Yokoy, the application for expense claims.

The first steps to act on the results have already been taken. Areas for improvement are being prioritized, and in the coming period, we will work with our suppliers to further improve the services provided by Travelpoint.

Yokoy Will Become Perk This Fall

On October 20, the Yokoy expense reporting platform within Travelpoint will be upgraded to Perk. Perk is the new platform for reporting travel expenses for business trips.

What does this mean for you?
The transition to Perk is largely automatic and will not affect
ongoing expense claim processes. Your user data, claim history, draft claims, password, and configured workflows will be transferred and will be immediately available in the new environment.
Although the claims process remains largely the same, Perk has a refreshed look and feel, and various features have been designed to be more user-friendly.

What do you need to do?
Most users do not need to take any action. Only if you use the mobile app will you need to download the new Perk app after the transition. If you have a managed phone, this is not necessary.

Tip: We recommend using the mobile app.
This allows you to easily scan and save receipts during your trip. Also, navigation in the app is simpler than in the desktop environment.

What has changed as a result of the migration from Yokoy to Perk?

Going on leave or being transferred? Book your tickets in advance

Are you going on leave soon or traveling due to a transfer? Make sure to book your tickets well in advance. We’re seeing more and more cases where tickets are purchased just before departure, sometimes as late as two weeks beforehand. This limits availability and can lead to higher ticket prices.
Therefore, book as soon as your travel dates are known and final, preferably at least three months before departure. This gives you more choice and helps avoid unnecessarily high costs.

New Provisions Regarding Business Class on International Business Trips

The 2026 Central Government Collective Bargaining Agreement (CAO Rijk) includes new provisions regarding international business travel by air. Effective October 1, 2026, the right to business class on flights longer than six hours, as provided for in the CAO Rijk, will be discontinued.
Starting on that date, the international travel policy of the organization where you work will apply to these flights. When drafting this policy, factors such as employee well-being, the nature of the work, CO₂ reduction targets, and costs will be taken into account.

Did you know?

… it’s convenient to load your train reservations into the NS International app? That way, you’ll stay up to date on any schedule or platform changes.

… a new guide is available for booking using a financial reference outside your own department or position? You can find the instructions in the Travelpoint FAQ on SSO3W.

… did you lose a lot of time during your trip due to a flight or train delay? You’re entitled to compensation. The compensation is personal (for you), not for your employer. You must apply for it yourself directly with the airline or train company. In the past, the travel agency Gray Dawes Travel handled compensation claims, but due to stricter privacy and anti-fraud regulations, customers now file the claims themselves.

… the “copy trip” feature in Atriis has been improved. You can now copy all booked flights—including low-cost and NDC flights—to a new trip number. This is useful if you want to book the same flight for multiple travelers but need a separate trip number for each traveler. When you use this feature, Atriis rechecks the availability and fare for the selected flight.
